RESPONSIBILITY
The database underpinning this website has been put together by inputting information collected on a daily basis from the most diverse official sources: the Moniteur (the official publication of the Belgian Federal Public Service), the National Social Security Office (ONSS), the annual accounts of the companies and not for profit organisations (ASBL) that have been filed at the Belgian National Bank, declarations of holdings of companies quoted on the stock exchange etc. Other sources include the database “BelFirst” published by Bureau Van Dijk, the press, websites, various publications etc.
CRISP collects and formats the data that has been made available, trying to ensure as much as possible that it is complete, correct, comprehensive and up-to-date, without, however, being able to offer a watertight guarantee. CRISP will do everything in its power to correct potential mistakes; anybody noticing errors or mistakes is invited to flag them to us.
CRISP refuses responsibility for the information published on this site and for the use which is made of it, particularly in the case of damage caused by using it in a way that is not purely informative, including any economic loss which may be incurred. CRISP cannot in any way be held responsible for inappropriate use or for a bad interpretation of the data presented.
The content of the website can be adapted, modified or added to at any moment, without prior notification or communication.
As far as possible, CRISP will do everything in its power to avoid interruptions resulting from errors or technical problems. CRISP cannot, however, guarantee that the website will not suffer interruptions or other technical problems.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
CRISP, as the owner of the data and its presentation on this website, is the explicit owner of the copyright and specific rights related to databases. These intellectual property rights apply to the databases, texts, photos, formatting, lay-out, slogans, illustrations and other elements featuring on the CRISP websites.
Visitors can use freely the information obtained directly from this website. This information can be shared or reproduced, on condition that the integrity and accuracy of the information is respected, that the source is attributed to CRISP and that the names of the authors are quoted where appropriate.
We allow the creation, without prior request, of surface linking which refers back to the website home page or any other page in its entirety. However, resorting to any technique such as framing or inlining, which aim to include all or part of this website in another one and mask, even if only partially, the exact origin of the information or might lead to confusion regarding the origin, require written authorisation. Any such demand must be addressed to CRISP (insert “Contact Us”).
PRIVACY
CRISP respects the law of 8 December 1992 relating to the protection of privacy when processing personal data.
Information of a personal nature collected via online forms will only be used within the necessary limits which were defined when it was collected. They will, on no account, be used for commercial purposes, nor transferred or passed on to other organisations or institutions.
The servers register automatically the data which the visitor’s browser sends each time the latter consults a CRISP website. These logs can contain the following information: the date and time of the visit, the visitor’s IP address, the type of browser used by the visitor, the navigation language and the browser’s screen size, as well as several cookies which enable the browser to be identified. This information is not connected to personal data collected elsewhere; it will only be used to compile statistics on website visits. The purpose of these statistics is to evaluate and improve the CRISP websites.
